Foreign journalists robbed at gunpoint in South Africa hotel

World Cup journalists from Spain and Portugal were robbed at gunpoint at the same World Cup hotel. The incident take placed at the Nutbush Boma Lodge, situated in the north west of Johannesburg. The incident happened about 4 o’clock when the journalists were asleep.
He said passports, clothes, laptops and cameras were stolen from the journalists, who were staying at the Nutbush Boma Lodge in Magaliesburg, on Johannesburg’s West Rand. “One of the suspects pointed a gun at the journalist and told him to lie down.” said Police spokesman Hangwani Mulaudzi.

Nelson Mandela has not kept himself far away from World Cup 2010. Former president Nelson Mandela will be at the World Cup opening and closing matches. According to the report Mandela will attend Opening and Closing Ceremony in Johannesburg.
Nelson Mandela had requested for four tickets from the board of the 2010 World Cup and has been granted.
Mandela will celebrate his 92nd birthday next month. Nelson Mandela campaigned for the World Cup to come to South Africa.
