15 Soccer fans injured in stampede to Free Soccer Friendly Match

Soccer fans injured
15 people were injured Sunday when thousands of fans who obtained free tickets to watch a friendly soccer match.
Police said large crowds gathered outside the ground shortly before the friendly match between Nigeria and North Korea to claim 8,000 free tickets.
One policeman was seriously injured Sunday during fan rushes at the Makhulong Stadium outside Johannesburg. The incident happened six days before the start of the 2010 World Cup.

Nelson Mandela will attend World Cup Opening Ceremony
Nelson Mandela has not kept himself far away from World Cup 2010. Former president Nelson Mandela will be at the World Cup opening and closing matches. According to the report Mandela will attend Opening and Closing Ceremony in Johannesburg.
Nelson Mandela had requested for four tickets from the board of the 2010 World Cup and has been granted.
Mandela will celebrate his 92nd birthday next month. Nelson Mandela campaigned for the World Cup to come to South Africa.
